I’ve been doing some YouTube research this week, because I’m thinking about doing some video stuff this year, and I thought I’d do some of the ones I watched and liked this week for you guys. The reason I was looking is that I’m just not sure which style I want to take my YouTube channel, if I want to do a more vlog style, or stick to focusing on more planner type videos. So I’ve looked at several different channels and I picked a few that I enjoyed. So, in no particular order, here’s five videos. Let me know which ones are your favorite, or if you have a channel that you absolutely love and couldn’t live without.
I had a hard time picking one video from this channel. She’s super cute to watch that I find myself binging on her videos a lot. She makes me want to do the vlog style videos, but I don’t think I can be near as adorable as she is. Haha. But I do get a lot of inspiration to try character design from her. Her style is very specific and very her. It makes me a little jealous as I think I’m still forming my own style. LOL.
2. Silas Art
I just recently discovered this channel, but she does art journaling that turns out super awesome. I don’t know that I’d be able to do half of what she does, purely because I have space issues at home at the moment, and no office to work in, but I love her work and had to include her in this roundup.
3. Microscope Beauty
I don’t watch this channel near as much as the others, but I really enjoy the structured type videos she does. She does a lot of how to videos and tips and tricks style, and that’s a lot of fun at certain times. I don’t know that i could be as detailed and structured as she is, but it is fun and interesting to watch.
I just recently discovered this one this week, so I’m still combing through her YouTube channel, but from what I’ve seen, I think she’s super talented and really enjoy the things she does. I particularly enjoy her doodle videos. I’ve been pretty inspired to try her bullet journal doodles myself.
5. Jenny Journals
I wish I could watercolor like this lady does. I like how she uses her bullet journal both as a planner and as an art journal, really. She focuses not just on what she needs to do each week, but also on being creative, and that’s something that I strive to do on a regular basis.
There you have it. Five YouTube channels that I really enjoy. Let me know your favorites.
